Helping feed local families in need:
SacredHand Canada, with the help of local communities, volunteers, and organizations, fights hard to address the growing issue of food insecurity and poverty. Without access to healthy and nutritious foods the homeless population is at-risk to physical and mental health issues. With your help we are able to provide over 600 hot meals weekly and provide over 8000 groceries monthly. Here at SacredHand Canada, we make sure that all our foods are up to the highest quality standard and that it is delivered to those who need it the most.

What are the facts?
In 2017-18, 1 in 8 households in Canada was food insecure, amounting to 4.4 million people, including more than 1.2 million children living in food-insecure households.

1 in 6 Canadian children under the age of 18 is affected by household food insecurity.

Households with children led by female lone parents are especially vulnerable to food insecurity; one-third of these households are food-insecure.
