Antique French boutis quilt, reversible and entirely hand-sewn, signed by the creator MM Toutain. One side features a rich burgundy background with a floral pattern of pink, green, and blue. The reverse side has a textured windowpane plaid in taupe, fawn, and beige. Green overlock stitching is on two sides.
Made of cotton with cotton fill.
Dimensions: 55x55in. (139.7x139.7cm.)
True Antique (ca. 1900). Excellent antique condition with wear commensurate with age.
