The purpose was to provide a way to observe the damage deep inside the reactors at Three Mile Island. These sensors created the smallest cameras systems that would be pushed through the piping inside the reactors. This is the only sensor that remains. 9 of the sensors remain at Three Mile Island. Each sensor cost $7,500 each. Data and reports are part of the sale.
