Genuine Pterosaur fossil discovered in the Ozarks of Southern Missouri. This fossil features soft tissue preservation and dates back to the Cretaceous period.
The fossil includes a large head with visible upper and lower teeth, vertebrae with an appendage, and multiple small bones from the wing's skeletal frame. The reverse side shows what appears to be a second, unidentified fossil.
Geologists claim the red sandstone fossil was found in dates to the Cretaceous period. An online auction site specializing in fossils estimated a starting bid of $800-$900. Reluctantly selling one of my most cherished discoveries.
