The Red Box is one of the best DI boxes on the market. This is a great tool to have on hand for those nights when the soundman is struggling to contain your tone and volume. It converts your amp's line out (or speaker out) into a balanced frequency-compensated signal that you can route directly to the mixing board. On stage, the Red Box gives the player a great speaker sound without bleed-thru from other instruments. It is also a great tool for the studio, allowing you to mic AND go straight to the board. It is powered by a 9V battery or a Boss PSA-120.
