A deck of Tarot extremely rare & unusual. Legend has it that, while preparing the props for 007 - Live and Let Die, producer Albert Broccoli commissioned Salvador Dalí to create a deck of Tarot cards for the film; it seems that the Spanish surrealist painter has started working on the project and when the contractual agreement failed, he continued to work on their own. Considered a means to interpret dreams or to predict the future, the Tarot date back to the Renaissance and have enjoyed renewed popularity with the hippie movement of the 70s. The set of Dalí -the first deck of which there are records made by an established painter - was published in an edition limited edition art in Spain in 1984. Now TASCHEN resurrects this rare that consists of 78 cards (56 Arcana minor color and 22 Major Arcana) including figures and symbols such as the Wizard, the Lovers, the Moon, Death, the Pope and the Empress.
