Exquisite Shelley England Melody Chintz Fine Bone China Set with green trim. Includes a tall tea/coffee pot and five teacups with saucers in the 'Melody' pattern (ca. 1938-1966). Note: This set is likely from later production. Mint green transfer ware with floral chintz in pink, burgundy, yellow, and blue. Trimmed in mint green. Shelley production ceased in 1965.
Estate sale find, sold 'as found' condition. No chips or cracks; slight tea stain and peppering consistent with age. Hand-painted rims. Stamped Shelley Made in England Fine Bone China with Melody stamp.
