Iconic Mexican Tourist jackets made for tourists visiting Mexico from the 1930’s to 1970’s. Family set of three includes Adult, Child & Toddler sizes. They are turquoise colored wool felt and embroidered with various designs: cacti, jugs, sombrero, vaquero dancers, etc.
Adult jacket circa 1950s, has “Lopez" label. Considering their age, they are in great condition. Some threads are loose and have tiny holes, not noticeable and can be stitched over to blend in.
$175: Adult Jacket size Small/Medium: Bust: 20” flat, Sleeve length: 24”, Top of collar to bottom of jacket: 29”. Designs: man carrying water, woman in canoe, hut, mariachi dancers. Has a couple of tiny holes.
$125: Child Jacket size Small - last photo 9 yr old wearing it. Bust: 17” flat. Sleeve length: 20-1/2”. Top of collar to bottom of jacket: 21”. Designs: sombrero, sunrise, woman with jug on head, palm tree, cacti, mariachi dancers. Repaired tear, one tiny hole.
